How to replace brake light bulb for Audi A4 (B8)

Model years: 2008 - present
Brake light is a light indicator in the rear of a vehicle, emitting red light at the time brake pedal is pressed. Put differently, it is there to draw attention, that the vehicle in front of you will slow down or come to a standstill. Confirming brake lights are in a good condition is a responsibility of a driver , otherwise ear-end collisions can occur. As a consequence of burned out brake light bulb, the driver from behind will likely be less observant if the facing car is slowing down and the cars might be involved in the accident. Whenever noticed, that non of the two brake lights emit light, make a push and replace the bulb. Before repairing failed brake light, be assured you buy an appropriate bulb.

The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.

If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
