How to replace brake light bulb for Audi A4 (B5)
Model years: 1994 - 2001
Brake light is a light indicator in the rear of a vehicle, that comes on in red each time brakes are used. Generally, it is an indication, that the driver is intended to reduce the speed or will achieve a full stop. Ensuring that both brake lights are working is a responsibility of a driver to assure safety of you and the other drivers. In the event of brake lights deterioration, the driver from behind might not foresee facing car is slowing down and the vehicles might collide. If you became aware of the fact, that either brake light is not responding, the bulb should be replaced straightway. Before getting ready to fix dead brake light, be sure you hold a genuine bulb.
The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.
If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
