How to replace brake light bulb for BMW 5 Series (F10, F11, F07)

Brake light is a stop lamp at the back side of the vehicle, emitting red light each time driver steps on the brake pedal. Generally, it is an indication, that the vehicle is about to throttle down or come to a standstill. Brake light proper performance is significant to make sure slowing down the vehicle is easily observable by others. How to replace brake light bulb:

Inner brake light bulb can be accessed through the inside of the trunk lid.

Lift the trunk lid and loosen three screws marked with arrows:

Expose the bulb holder by folding the cover away:

Remove bulb holder while pressing the clips:

Remove bulb from the holder (the image indicates bulb location):

Outer brake light bulb is made using LED technology. If the event of failure contact your service center.
