How to replace tail light bulb for Audi A3 (8V)

Model years: 2012 - present
Tail lights or tail lamps are located at the rear of the vehicle, which prime goal is to make vehicles in sight at the hours of darkness. Aforementioned lamps emit red ray of light as stop lamps, however the latter causes more intense light. As a rule tail lights will proceed glowing till the front lamps are on. It's critical that tail lamps are not obstructed by the cargo, otherwise full visibility of such car will be prevented. The same result applies for a defective tail light, hence replace the bulb at the first opportunity.

The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.

If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
