How to replace tail light bulb for Audi A3 (8P)

Model years: 2003 - 2013
Tail lights (rear position lamps) are installed at the rear-end of the vehicle, which prime goal is to improve vehicle exposure on the road. These lamps produce red light likewise brake lamps, only the latter develops more intensive light. Commonly tail lamps will be activated until the headlamps are switched on. It's important that any protruding objects are not restricting tail lamps, otherwise it can become problematic to spot such vehicle. The same consequence happens in a case of a broken tail light, for that reason bulb should be replaced as soon as possible.

The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.

If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
