How to replace turn signal bulb for Audi TT (Mk2)
Model years: 2006 - present
Vehicle turn signals or directional indicators are twinkling lamps, situated at front and rear of the vehicle. It's a responsibility of each driver to use these lamps properly and alert others, that the car is ready to start a maneuver. It's very important turn signals are in operation at the right time, thus giving other drivers a notice about vehicle position changes. Consequently, all directional signals that are failed, should be fixed immediately. The most common cause of an inoperative turn indicator is a failed bulb, which can be detected even from the inside of the vehicle: when turn signal of the failing side is in operation, flickering rate of a corresponding indicator in dashboard will be increased, even though only one bulb has burned out.
The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.
If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
