How to replace turn signal bulb for Audi A8 sedan/saloon (D3)
Model years: 2002 - 2009
Car turn signals or directionals are blinking lights, situated at front and rear of the vehicle. The appearance of these lights are controlled by the driver to let others know, that the movement direction of a car is going to be changed. It's significant to operate turn signals properly, thus giving other drivers a notice about vehicle position changes. That is why all directional signals have to be in a fully working condition. In most cases, the reason of a down turn indicator is a burned out bulb, which can be noticed while sitting behind the steering wheel: every time driver actuates turn signal, flickering rate of a corresponding indicator in dashboard will be increased, even if a single bulb is not working.
The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.
If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
