How to replace tail light bulb for BMW 1 Series (F20, F21)
Model years: 2011 - present
Tail lights (aka rear lamps) are integrated at the rear lamp cluster of the car, which are intended to increase the visibility of automobiles at night. These lights produce red colored beam similarly to stop lamps, apart from the latter causes more intense light. As a rule tail lights will proceed glowing as long as the headlights are switched on. It's relevant that the items being transported are not blocking tail lamps, as it can become problematic to spot such vehicle. Equivalent consequence suits a broken tail light, for that reason get a new bulb and replace it.
The life-time of a bulb is limited. Sooner or later, it will burn out and will have to be replaced. Bulbs, made of high quality materials, tend to last longer. It's recommended to use well known brand replacement bulbs.
If bulb burns out right after installation, your vehicle might have a problem inside electrical system - have it checked by auto electrician.
